Miami Beach, FL – July 1, 2024 – Fontainebleau Miami Beach is set to unveil a lavish new convention center, promising a premier venue for extravagant events.
Expected to be completed in November, the $100 million Coastal Convention Center will offer 45,000 square feet of meeting space, capable of accommodating around 1,000 people. This five-story building, located at 4441 Collins Ave., will feature underground parking and connect to the hotel via a sky bridge.
The design pays tribute to the hotel’s original architect, Morris Lapidus, with luxurious interiors and curated art. According to Phil Goldfarb, COO of Fontainebleau Development, this addition will modernize the hotel’s event hosting capabilities, allowing for simultaneous events and attracting more social and corporate gatherings to Miami.
Set on 22 oceanfront acres near South Beach, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach has a storied legacy and continues to be a luxury destination. The new convention center, designed by Nichols Architects with interiors by Jeffrey Beers International, will include a grand staircase, large and junior ballrooms, 15 meeting rooms, and a rooftop with stunning views.
